My name is Philip Weber and I am a certified insurance umpire and an independent insurance adjuster licensed in multiple states. I prefer commercial claims work however I welcome residential claims work as well.
I believe the value of a good adjuster means total efficiency for the insurance carrier and IA firm I am deployed by. In my opinion TOTAL EFFICIENCY means explaining the process the first time I speak to an insured, setting low expectation that can easily be met and exceeded, being thorough so that files do not have to be reopened because of missed damages or inaccurate measurements. Correctly estimating the damages, saving the carrier and the IA firm hours wasted when claims are reopened for such corrections and additions or mis-measurements. I discuss and explain what damages I am and am not writing and why with the insured, often solving the problem of overloaded phone lines in part by insured’s that do not understand their estimate. I keep in touch with insured's, if a file cannot be immediately closed, I communicate with them at least once a week. If am insured has damaged PP damages and carrier requests I handle this portion of the claim, I will attempt to discover what PP was damaged and how during our initial conversation. I will assist the insured with their smaller list of items at that time or if the list is significant I will send them a PP spreadsheet and prep them regarding what information is needed and assist them with it including when I am at the loss location until there PP claim is completed. I am adept at understanding and handling complex claims and have completed claims in excess of $1,500,000.00.
I have worked large commercial losses including associations, warehouses, large and small retail, large and small churches, farms and many many more. I have and can sketch complex roof systems and have done so with roofs that have multiple levels and 35 to 40 faces accurately. I have been asked to estimate by rebuilding entire structures that were destroyed using sketch and have done some accurately.
I have the necessary equipment and tools: reliable transportation, 17' 28' and 32' ladders, rope and harness gear, pitch gauge, shingle gauge, equipment for taking siding samples, respirators, rubber gloves, paper jumpsuits and booties for toxic or hazardous claims, as well as laser measuring tools, moisture meter an excellent camera, and many other tools useful to conduct a thorough inspection of most any claim assigned to me.
My RV can arrive on site typically within 24 to 48 hours of being deployed. This RV is specifically setup for claims adjusting with a designated office, Internet access, printer, computer and office supplies.
Towed behind the RV is a Dodge four door pickup that has been specifically customized for adjusting. The tools are stored in an orderly fashion for ease of use and professionalism. The truck has a GPS, a rear camera, a laptop mount/desk (for writing estimates on site), printer, file cabinet, and office supplies.

I am not fluent in Spanish, however I do carry a pocket translator, and have a translater that speaks Spanish fluently if needed. The pocket translator translates multiple languages verbally and text.
